Using a multi-disciplinary approach, participants learn how to bridge the gap from work-life to creating a dynamic retirement without losing the self-worth, purpose, fulfillment, and connection they previously found in work.

WHAT does it involve?
This comprehensive program includes a self-paced online course with personal reflection exercises for participants to explore their preconceptions, hopes, and concerns. Live workshops provide the space to address personal challenges and have group discussions. Employees receive support, encouragement, and sharing of ideas from their peers.
In just 3 months, participants gain confidence and motivation to make preparations for their eventual transition to retirement.
Designed to ignite inspiration, shift traditional thinking, and create positive action, your employees will:
- Create a transition plan to develop and implement
- Value themselves and their future, with or without work
Accessible and flexible to meet your needs
Spread over 6 or 12 weeks or 6 months, Retire To Thrive can be adjusted to meet organizational demands and employee workloads. I work with Human Resources to find the right balance and optimal timing. To keep the course personal and impactful, groups are created each with 10 to 12 participants.

ADMIN SUPPORT + PROGRAM EVALUATION
- 1 x recruitment template letter — explaining the program, its benefits, and a call for interested employees to sign up. This can be modified according to your organization's branding and messaging.
- A program debrief — drawn from observations on employee participation, engagement and feedback in group workshops; impressions from self-evaluations + results from anonymous questionnaires upon completion.
EMPLOYEES receive:
GROUP WORKSHOPS
- 5 x 50-minute live group workshops via Zoom (recorded, confidential, and property of Retire READY).
- 1 x 75-minute final follow-up group discussion with practical tips on moving forward.
ONLINE COURSE
- 3 modules totalling 3 hours of engaging content. Participants complete one module either each week, every two weeks, or once per month (depending on the agreed time frame for the program).
- 6 personal exercises that complement and enhance both the content and course experience. Proven effective and insightful, they are highly encouraged, but not mandatory.
- A DRAFT Map is used to funnel the exploration of ideas, opportunities and endeavours (new/old); helps find clarity, meaning and direction for the future.
- A Personal Transition Plan is a working template with a clear vision, measurable goals, actionable steps, and timelines.

Having researched and worked for almost 30 years within this sector, I'm stunned at the lack of educational support for this significant transition in both life stage and lifestyle.
